Next stop Kalmar and Öland!

Our third international meeting was a success according to some 60 participants from all over the world! The theme was "Current Research in Avian Zoonoses". The meeting was held at Brofästet Conference Centre, Kalmar, May 3-5, 2006, as a co-arrangement between the Society for Zoonotic Ecology and Epidemiology, the Research Institute for Zoonotic Ecology and Epidemiology, Kalmar University, Kalmar County and the Ottenby Bird Observatory.

The conference was followed by a two-day optional tour to Ottenby Bird Observatory, including a presentation of the ongoing research activities, and of course bird watching! More information is available at the conference website.
